Jelenov Žleb is a small remote settlement in the hills to the south of Ribnica in southern Slovenia. It no longer has any permanent residents, but is used seasonally by local forest workers. The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included in the Southeast Slovenia statistical region.[2]
A small chapel in the settlement is dedicated to Saint Anthony the Hermit and belongs to the Ribnica parish. It has a wooden belfry. It was built in 1906 and renovated in 1996.[3]
